Description
Designed by Poul Cadovius in 1959, the Pia Chair took the spirit and inspiration of design in the fifties but with a much more petite style. Poul took the approach of less is more when developing this piece and this is very evident with its simple beauty. It may be simple, however, the level of detail is extremely high — for example, the hand-sanded rounding at the top of the back legs, and the finger joined front legs. The seat itself is also hand-woven, taking two hours just for this step alone, so you are guaranteed top-quality craftsmanship with the Pia Chair. Comfort is also a key element with the construction of this chair, so wherever you choose to place it, you’ll be comfortable. Perfect around a dining table for you and your guests or maybe by the coffee table to sit and sip your coffee.
