The ROYAL SYSTEM® shelving system was designed in 1948 by legendary Danish designer and manufacturer Poul Cadovius. Relaunched by DK3 in 2010 in various wood types, the ROYAL SYSTEM® remains a timeless classic with a space-saving, flexible design offering numerous possibilities for a personal, modern expression. One of the world’s first wall hung furniture systems, and the idea that furniture should not use floor space was innovative. Consisting of wall-mounted wooden rails, shelves with hangers in brass or stainless steel and various modules such as cabinets, drawers and desks, which can be customised in multiple individual combinations.
